Hoops for Hope (H4H) fosters development in highly disadvantaged communities across Zimbabwe and South Africa. Generous donations of sneakers, cleats, uniforms and balls from around the United States and Canada arrive in 20 foot and 40 foot shipping containers, crossing vast oceans and retiring in our region. Creating H4H Youth Container Community Clubhouses from these retired shipping containers will allow H4H to better provide services by means of community proximity and identity for the youth supported. A youth center will be filled with computers, books, balls, MVP peer education coaches and serve their local community with Hoops 4 Hope, Soccer 4 Hope and Chess 4 Hope programs.

Designed in collaboration with designer Matthew Pauly, the prototype is currently under fabrication by Tim Giblin and a team of highly skilled carpenters and metal workers. More details coming soon...
